Our software is in the process of migration, we are changing servers to combat performance problems that hit us during the last few days. Our game server may be down today, as we need to move the Game Giveaway to a new hardware. Giveaway itself will be live during same migration process, though some slowdowns should be expected.
We are sorry for the inconvenience but current servers` performance left us no choice but go with the migration ASAP.
Update: It looks like some of the user comments might be lost due to the migration process.

Yesterday we found out that our partner service, Wikifortio, had a security loophole that allowed hackers to change the description of the download and protect the download with the password. The downloadable file itself was not changed (the loophole doesn`t allow that). We switched to another download facility and eliminated the loophole.
We are sorry for this inconvenience and hope that we will avoid such a situation in future. Please notice that we never password-protect our downloads and will never do this in future.
Also, it`s absolutely impossible to change the file, so, as inconvenient as the situation was, the actual file was not threatened.
We will do our best to ensure that Giveaway of the Day stays safe and secure for its visitors, and we hope to see you again here tomorrow.
Update: well, some great news for all of us – Wikifortio problem was fixed AND tested – no loophole now. Also, we received an analysis report from the Wikifortio team and it seems that the loophole was in fact minor, just like we expected – there were no ways to change the file itself.
We will switch to Wikifortio tomorrow and Wikifortio team will monitor the downloads security to make our service safe for all our visitors.

Hello everyone,
Today we will rerun Sytexis Web Stream Recorder together with the main giveaway to address the issues with upgraded version which is not working with the Giveaway of the day registration data.
If you have any problems with your previous installation of this software (namely, you downloaded and installed the update and lost the registration), you can download this giveaway and install it to fix the problem.
This newer giveaway version will not automatically check for the update when started.

Good news everyone! From now on all GAOTD Tickers are available in all supported languages: Deutsch, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Dutch and Russian!
So, if you have Spanish web-site (for example) and would like to feature our ticker in your native language go to the Spread the Word section on the Giveaway of the day in Espanol (Cuéntale al Mundo), choose the ticker and copy-paste the appropriate code into your web page or blog.
If you already had GAOTD ticker on your site, but want to replace it with non-English equivalent just choose the preferred language and replace the one you had with it.
