UPDATE: we received a fixed version of the DVD Ripper now, and it will be online this week, we just need to run a few tests to make sure everything runs ok.

and sorry for the inconvenience caused by today’s GAOTD downtime.
Today we started to do some minor works on our WordPress site engine and just a few minutes later we faced the whole database performance problem that bugged us and our visitors before from time to time. But now, this database problem was about to become full-scale disaster, so we decided to deal with that immediately, and we had to bring the site down for several hours.
We are still working on database performance tuning and expect Giveawayoftheday.com to be in a perfect shape tomorrow, ready to meet our visitors.
We will launch our daily giveaways at midnight (PST) and we hope that you’ll visit us tomorrow to check those out.

Today we launched a new project at giveawayoftheday.com: freeware library. We worked hard to make it handy and also to filter out all that disgusting adware/spyware that some developers call “free”.
