  4. Please try to obtain a giveaway of jv16 PowerTools 2011.

    Thanks…

  5. download the vlc media player(you might have to download utorrent and get it through that. thats how i did it, not sure though) anyways the vlc media player will work with almost all codecs, so you will be able to play all videos and look at all pics. so no need to convert. but you can if you want, the vlc media player does that as well

  6. You folks should REALLY find appropriate forums on which to post your questions that are about off-the-wall subjects, or which in no stretch of the imagination have ANY bearing on this giveaway, much less the GAOTD site! You’ll find quite a few OpenSource sites; these have conditions are generally meant for programmers wanting to make a quick buck using the free code that’s given to them by download (the restrictions are very clear and meant to be included in any code changes made, or tell the users what link they use to read the full license information, or the link to use to download the license file(s) for inclusion in the installation archive, be it SFX or standard [i.e., ACE, ZIP, PAK, ARC, RAR, CAB, et al, including compiled archives, that are run as with any program, with an extension of EXE; SFX means that it’s a compiled, standard archive, but the compilation lets any user run it for installation, without requiring the user to have ANY archive utility, EVER! You can also run the types of installation files, just as if you had an archive management utility! For a list of commands that particular SFX file has available for your use, simply enter the file name {and full path -usually only needed if you run it outside of the folder in which it resides}, followed by -?, -H, -HELP, using a standard command]

Virtually any program that you may find in “trial” or “Retail/discounted” sites that you can’t find a FREE counterpart of equal or even better quality than what would otherwise cost you something and, then, it would generally be “crippleware, trialware, shareware, crapware, retail, et al.” There is a very large community of programers that get enjoyment out of coding anything from simple utilities, codecs, programs and suites; these “freeware” programmers are not hard to find, either. Using your favorite search engine, look for a category that would encompass the type of program you’re in need of, a term (e.g. freeware, free, disk optimizer, optimizer), or anything else you can think of that would bring focus to your search. You want to make searches that are broad enough, then narrow your search ’til you see the kind of thing(s) you’re looking for; then start looking at the links you find and let you home-in on what you’ve been looking for. Hope this helps someone out their!

    Good Luck! :)
