(sorry bubby i’m trying to be polite) My thought for people who complain about whats free….get a job and buy what you want. Then maybe you’ll have something to do instead of coming here.
To all you ppl complaining there are no free games. Sheez, how can you complain about FREE! They are doing this as a courtesy. I do believe this is NOT their full time job. I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard for them to just quit giving software for free. At least be GREATFUL for what you DO get for FREE.

The games I like the most are Around the World in 80 Days and Ozzy Bubbles. But I’ve also started using free programs I heard about on this site, including Launchy (indispensable), Revo Uninstaller, and Essential PIM.
For those who liked Magnifying Glass Pro, which was given away a couple of months ago, Bits du Jour is offering it (today only) for $11.73. I just found out about their site about a month ago, and this offer saved me. I don’t use the glass much but I got a message when I opened it yesterday (ironically, so I could read the GAOTD forums more comfortably, since I can’t see my monitor very well with my old-style bifocal glasses)that my license expires in 7 days. I emailed the developer, but don’t expect to hear anything since others who had the same problem reported a poor response. I live in Charlotte, NC – home of Wachovia. We lost one of our largest banks today, we have no gas here, stocks tanked today and now the last glimmer of light has been snuffed out until tomorrow…
Not a problem, considering all we get from you guys, FOR FREE. To the complainers, just think about how much you would have had to spend to get everything you have downloaded here, and give the gang a break! Me, I’m mourning all my lost GAoTD stuff since my PC forgot it has a Windows drive last week , but I’m looking forward to the new programs that will be offered!
I can’t believe how rude some of you are about occasional lapses in this valuable and FREE (to the user) service. It’s like junkies missing a hit. I now have a number of programs that I cannot imagine being without. And I didn’t pay a dime. Thanks muchly, GOTD

LOVE!!! the click 3 games…don’t care if a whole bunch of them are on there. Treasure of Montezuma was awesome…wish I had that one-could that be run again? I’m not a gamer type of person, if I were I wouldn’t be on this site, but a nice game to unwind with is appreciated. LOVED the Golden Prague game; would be fun to see more of that. The pdf to word was an excellent utility. Thanks for all the hard work GAOTD!!

To many people use :)’s! Even the moderators of a Yahoo! rated site use :)’s?! Rated in Google’s PageRank as 5/10, and they use :)’s?! That is not pro-like.

Yes, Match 3’s! There are good Match-3 games and bad ones. And yes we had a run on them at one point, but there’s been very few lately. (Around the world in 80 days was most excellent). And we’ve finished those. How about here’s to more good games of any type.
There for awhile we kept hearing, “Not another Arkanoid game!” Now it’s Match 3.
PLEASE, keep the weekend games coming….I still wish we had them everyday, like we did before!!! Anyway, thanks for all the awesome games and software!!!

I think they went on vacation again I wish I had a job where I could go on vacation every two weeks and stay gone for months on end. Someone else needs to start a sight for free game downloads not enough Competition out there. I just want to congratulate you in the work you do to get this free software to us. Keep it up.
I would appreciate it if the trial software that has a built in stopper could be clearly identified from unlimited use free software so I don’t get my hopes up when using a trial version that is really great and I can’t afford to buy the upgrade.
