  1. As you can see, a big part of your visitors have 64-bit windows so please in future make sure you accept only software which is 64-bit compatible. Maybe your decision to not accept a non 64-bit program will lead the software company to finally release a 64-bit version which is becoming today’s standard.
    Thank you.

  4. @40 Toast:

Why its a joke no 64 bit?!
    Of course not!

Adobe programs are all 32 bit, even firefox and rest of browsers (yes also microsoft explorer has active-x only in 32 bit) and most companies publish only 32 bit.
So why should Online Armor be 64 bit?!

You have to accept, 64 bit is a small percentage of users, stop wimping around.

(and I am not telling because I use 32 bit, I have many PCs including 64 bit…)

  7. It is the next day and I am still waiting to receive my license key.

Used my password I had from the last Online Armor giveaway…..did not receive key. Received the OK when I went to register it, though.

Really disappointed on the registration set up on this one.

    What happened Guys?

  13. Thanks a lot. You have done a great job and this , (if you don;t have more surprises for us) will be placed in one of the top three giveaway of the day.

  14. Online Armor was blocking a couple of my regular software even if these software were inoffensive and that they had the correct permissions from the firewall.

  16. Install went OK. Initial startup Was OK. But then things went south. It very well could have been my lack of knowledge, but I started having problems with other software running. I couldn’t even play songs from my WMC library. I decided to uninstall and start from scratch. I used Your Un-Installer 2010. Then I was still having problems. Found Online Armor still running in services. Zoinks. Tried to use the hunter mode to finish the uninstall but since it was no longer listed in the program list it couldn’t proceed. Then I found that Online Armors uninstall was still in the program menu. Again, very well could have been my lack of knowledge. I may give it another go.

  17. Armor worked for 8 days…then a program got hung; then another.

Two days later, it stopped all incoming or outgoing traffic.

therefore, I uninstalled. Never once, did it detect a malicious threat; this is a clean system.

  18. Apparently there is some sort of problem with this release. I submitted a trouble ticket for “Sporatically excessive CPU in oasrv.exe”

  19. Downloaded quickly; installed promptly; registration was a breeze (of course, I read the readme file, as usual). Great program!!! Got rid of my other Freeware “firewalls” and now use only Online Armor ++. After seeing mine in operation, most of my friends are either buying the program or waiting to see it again on GOTD. I will probably purchase another license when this one expires! GOTD: excellent choice. All of you other users: Take the time to read the README file from GOTD when installing, but ALSO the README that usually comes with the installation pkg. Sometimes it helps to run the activation program BEFORE installing the program. Thanx a million GOTD. Keep up the great work, BRIBG BACK GAMES!!!

  20. Well this was originally just the the straw that broke the camel’s back in background services slowing the computer to a crawl, so I had to disable it and decided to use it only if I got infected with virus or malware. then i tried to install a printer and repeatedly recieved the “Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item” error. I spent a few hours tracking it down to Online Armour++. The uninstaller didn’t work, and I had to use revo uninstaller to get rid of this.

  21. Online Armor is working grand on my machine …. only slowed the PC slightly. It was very fussy at the beginning but it learns well. One of the best offers from GAOTD.

  22. Tried the Online Armor ++ program for several weeks. An update for the free version (4.0.0.35Free) was released today (15 MAR). Installed on top of the “paid” version, and now running the “free” version + no AV function. I have no complaints about the firewall, but the AV didn’t have an auto update scheduler, at least that I could discover. So: am now back to Avira AV (free version) + Online Armor (free version). Still hoping for a 64 bit version of the free firewall. I would like to try using the Online Armor ++ again, once there’s both: 664-bit support, and an AV auto update scheduler.

  23. Forgot to mention: A Malwarebytes Anti-Malware scan found 3 Trojan files (named: setup.exe) sitting in my Temp folder, that the Online Armor AV never noticed.

  25. Online Armor is OK, but if you really need an internet suite, get COMODO internet security its very, very good and does not use up to many system resources. and its completely FREE.

  26. I took the opportunity given by GOTD and installed it. It well fine and dandy until last week when my PC started to get sluggish and hung itself for several minutes with no apparent reason, coincided when I started to get connection with a static IP. Until one day I just couldn’t really work on my PC. I disabled OlA++, prevented all of it from starting, and my problems disappeared. Wish someone could help me with this for I liked the software.

  27. As i have said in the past, there would be a more beneficial relationship between developers and interested parties should your site take steps toward becoming more playtesting and less routine complaining. Developers provide you with alpha or beta games, you offer the pre-releases to those of us who are seeking free games. In exchange for us receiving free games, we provide feedback to help the developers improve upon their products for final release. We end up with the free licensed pre-release versions in exchange for our input. Should we desire a full public release license, we purchase it as does everyone else. This would solve the dilemma for those who merely give away their games without technical or other support, and receive very little in return via advertising by word of mouth.
