November 10, 2010
Hi everybody!
Boy, we’ve got news for you! Digiarty Software is going to post WinX DVD Ripper again on Saturday (November 13).
Though the problem was on our side on October 31, they supported the idea of repeating the giveaway for you. Moreover the upcoming version will be updated according to some improvements suggested by you.
And that is not all! Also on the same day Digiarty Software will bring something for Mac OS users (here’s a hint – it’ll be one of the MacX products). So if you know any Mac fans – be sure to let them know.
Stay tuned.
Regards,
GOTD team
Thanks; I look forwards to seeing it here again. :)
Great. Your first giveaway was perfect timing, but when something went wrong with the download and it did not work I was disappointed. But I really wanted it for my kids and the comments were glowing, so I paid for it. (my bad).
Now you’re giving it away again!!!
Any chance I can get my money back?
EXCELLENT ! Bravo GOTD and Digiarty Software. Look forward to it !
That is awesome. Their software has always been top notch without any scamware in it.
Has anyone else had a problem with this where trying to rip a movie and the output video only rips up to halfway and stops?
when is the win x dvd software comming back deleted the first we all know why how about a heads up so i dont miss it thanks lots yall
That’s great news!!! Yeah! What’s the date, so I can triple mark my calendar for it. :-)
Neither download does not work.
After a month asks you to register and leaves a trial version.
For that reason not given code giveaway is not respected and asks that you register immediately.
This happened with the Windows version of this program. The version was WinXDVD Ripper Premium. And now even though it was recorded at the time properly, requires that pay the copy to use it.
This also put it on the forums but did not pay any attention and even took me out. Perhaps because he does not speak well of the project or do not know why.
I also had my WinX DVD Ripper Platinum version expire even though when installed it registered properly. Now it says the trial is up!?
Oh well, the free version still works so I guess I will just uninstall the Platinum version.
I had the same problem. It has become unusable due to the 15 minute limiation that has suddenly appeared. Prior to it’s use today I was loving this program, and speaking high praise of giveawayoftheday.com. Now, I’m not so sure.
While I am confident it isn’t GaotDs fault, I still feel kind of shafted.
Hey Everyone:
Digiarty Software is giving away “MacX DVD Ripper Pro 2.7.0”. The giveaway is valid before Dec 20, 2010, and they’re giving away Mac and
Windows versions. The link for the download page on the Digiarty site is:
http://www.macxdvd.com/mac-dvd-ripper-pro
They even give the License Codes for each version right on the page.
I had the same problem.
Go to Help | About Registration
Scroll down and one of the screenshots has a full code
I entered this code and got the full version back
:)
Once again, these kinds of giveaways should be given more time for people like me who don’t have time to spend hours everyday online, to catch up on what’s going on in the online world and take advantage of them too.
Another really big thing I want to mention is the issue of software that is given away on GAOTD that after it’s registered, somehow reverts to trialware again shortly after it was offered.
Aston Desktop recently reverted on my win7 machine and now everytime I boot up the pc I get harassed by Aston claiming it needs to be registered and asking for me to input registration and license info.
How is a software a giveaway when it reverts back to trial and starts harassing a user this way every time they boot up their pc?
GAOTD needs to do SOMETHING to prevent developers from using GAOTD for their scams of this type, tricking users into installing their software when the giveaway isn’t really a giveaway at all, but a ruse to get the software onto someone’s machine so it can harass the user at a later time to either have to buy the software or uninstall it so they can use their pc without having to always go through the hell of being nagged at every bootup and having to use task manager to kill the nagging application so they can proceed with using their computer.
Aston isnt the only offender either, there’s a number of other Giveaways which have also turned out to be scamware of this type
