Dear users,
we are really sorry for today’s problem with registration. Still all is well that ends well, and we are now happy to inform you that the issue is solved.
This said, if you belong to those unlucky, unable to register the application, you can hurry back to the Mirolit Halotea GOTD page and grab it for yourself (and ask to do the same a couple of friends of course). ;)
There is only one unpleasant thing – you will have to re-download the whole archive (which is 54.7 MB) to get it. Anyway we believe it is totally worth it.
Yours sincerely,
GOTD project team
Thanks to Mirolit and the GOTD Team that you saved the day :)
I have tried by uninstalling/installing 3 times and still have not been able to get it registered…could someone help me?
Hi there!
The giveaway of Halotea is prolonged for another 5 hours. We and Mirolit Software believe it is fair – especially for those users, who only have a couple of hours to spend on GOTD after start.
Please get yourself a copy to relax. :)
Take care,
GOTD team
Dear Linda,
to install the software you should re-download the GOTD installation package. The new version won’t request any keys to be activated.
Please make sure the archive you are getting is called Halotea_new.zip.
It’s LATE, I’m tired, I’m frustrated, I tried to install the first version (58,867kb) hours ago and kept getting this CRYPTIC USELESS error message:
NSIS Error – Error Launching Installer
Now I’ve downloaded the “new and improved” version – 59,065kb that’s supposed to “solve the issue” and guess what? I’m still getting the same error message!!!
Also, during some of my failed attempts to install, my Mamutu anti-malware security popped up saying it noticed bad behavior but before I have a chance to tell it to ignore it (which I am very reluctant to do!!!) Mamutu shuts off completely (and the Mamutu ico even disappears from the system tray which it has never done before!)
What on earth are you all doing to my PC????
I give up. Software sounded like a nice idea except for the person who reported that it auto-changes our preference for which program opens files.
Sure glad I already use Atmosphere Lite because that is a great free program that never gave me any trouble during installation, but then it didn’t have the GOTD wrapper gizmo to mess things up.
Hope Halotea is offered again some day when all the problems and glitches related to installation and preferences are really really cured.
Sorry, forgot to state:
Vista 64-bit and yes, I know to “Run as Administrator”
To Linda & GreeneyedNewbieNovice,
I had the same problem on my XP Pro SP3. The way I resolved it was;
Run the uninstall from the Halotea menu. Then delete any trace of it on the hard drive. And finally delete any trace of it from The HKCU & HKLM sections of the registry, except those that belong to other progs. ie Intellipoint, Mamutu, search assistant and MUIcache.
Then run the new download ‘Halotea_new.zip’. This did the trick.

P.S. I am going to re-post this on the Halotea download page, post any Q’s there and I will try to help.se
I downloaded the software. Installed it and ran it. First, it did not activate. Tried again and it worked. I played with it for two minutes and thought it was a great way to relax. Next day, started up the program to give it a good try…..BSOD! Now every time I try to run it it crashes my system. So…now i had to uninstall it and the promotion is over. It would have been nice to get this software to actually help me relax. Sorry but, without getting a second chance to use the program I have to say this was FAR from relaxation.
please put this software up again soon :(
