GGAOTD going offline for vacations season
Hello everyone!
Our team has made it into vacations season and we will be short on people for a few weeks. Actually, I’m writing that right from the beach:)
To compensate for temporary stuff shortage, we decided to switch to single site mode for those few weeks, that means that Game site will be offline and we will post games on our main site on weekends and software during business days. Once vacation season is over, the Game site will be back.
And that’s not all – we will be launching a new feature, Free Games Library, very soon!
We hope that improved Game site will be even more interesting for our visitors.

I’m starting to wonder if these guys are ever coming back. It has been over a month now. Vacations, holidays, or whatever one calls it shouldn’t take this long.
I posted a message here yesterday and said absolutely nothing wrong and I see it’s not even here. Whats up with that ?????

Wow, when even Dorothy of Oz starts to lose faith in the ‘team’, what are the rest of us Munchkins to believe.

hey guy’s vacation is fine,but when is enough.here we are sept you left aug 2nd and if your not planning on returning and getting this game stuff started.then at least let us know instead of leading us on. get with the program and start laying out some games here.otherwise many of us have been waiting waiting waiting GOOD-BYE. you don’t answer any comments and you don’t tell anyone when you was coming back and I mean WAS!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding!!!! It full of nagging spywares, adwares… I had to run a scan twice to clear those suckers out..

I must come to Dorothy’s defense on her recommendation of mostfun.com and it’s wonderful games. (Not to be confused with mostfungames.com)
Hummmm… my message somehow got truncated. I must have made a syntax error somewhere. Let me try again.
Like I was saying to guitarzan, the site mostfun.com, not mostfungames.com is a good place for free games. For your viewing a brief commercial with their games, you get to play for free. Top quality, frequently updated games too. My son, a dedicated game player, loves this site. As for spyware, adware, I find none. I run fulltime spyware detection and have no problems with mostfun at all. A final note, Aug. 2 to Sept. 6, that’s quite a vacation GGAOTD has going there. Hope they make it back by Thanksgiving!

My powerful spyware scanner did find 5 spywares related from mostfun.com.. I ended clearing cookies, trackers from them each time I goes off line…
I gotta find another thing to do beside ranting on here..
I am not one to complain–after all, I have found some awesome games from the Team–however, I’m really missing the games site. GGOTD Team, are you planning to return? If so, would you kindly let us know a date to expect you? If not, it would be nice to know that as well. I’d love to see some more arkanoid, puzzle/logic, type games.
I can’t believe I still have this site in my bookmarks! Time for it to go! Might as well delete SGOTD also as it is just a daily repeat of past titles. Oh well easy come easy go.
Hi Everyone. Thanks for hanging in there. We have started returning from our vacations. Once we get past the weekend, we will once again be bringing you the best in entertainment. Guitarzan, I don’t consider cookies so much as spyware – many sites use tracking cookies. I flush my cookies most every day, but I don’t worry about them. I’d be concerned with a spyware executable or spyware that starts up everytime you start Windows. My wife plays the mostfun games, and you’re right, I did notice it puts something in the startup. I don’t tolerate anything I didn’t install in my Windows startup so I run msconfig and instantly remove any offenders. It takes constant monitoring of your right hand taskbar and Windows startup to keep all the crap that’s out there today from bogging your system down. I use utilites for monitoring and cleaning – but have them only run when I want them too, not constantly.

Just wondering when games will be back sure hope they aren’t gone for good i really liked the games and the reviews that some gave. I think George got lost in the jungle though and slava i hope the sharks at the beach didn’t take you away:)

Hope the guy dealing with the game section is not dead during its vacations… If it is, that would explain how long and difficult it is for finding out another game manager.

I have never had a problem with mostfun and spyware, tracking cookies I delete twice a week and always keep a eye out for anything that loads at startup. Ive had mostfun on my computer for about three-four months and have not had a problem.
Wally I have heard that the games will return at the end of the month, not holding my breath.
I’m not holding my breath either, who takes a month plus long vacation when there are people who check this website everyday???
yeah we finally get a game how ever its on giveawayoftheday.com and not on game sbut its still a game so it should placate us for a while more.

I put Dorothy’s advice a while back into motion. I installed the games player from mosyfun.com into my mechine. I had no problem with spyware, adware or whatever. HOWEVER, the games player apparently runs at a much faster speed than my processor because NONE of their games would play on my mechine. The game would start to load, & subsequently lock-up or freeze my system. The average person is not willing to wait for 3 hrs for a simple game to load. I can get many of those games as Demos from other sites on the net, & the demos work. It’s just that the Games Player wouldn’t work with what I got. Thanks anyway. I had to remove it. Still found NO spyware/adware from the site in my computer, even after uninstall was complete.
P.S. I can’t read & type at the same time, & typing in the dark does have it’s disadvantages. I meant to type “mosTfun.com” not mosYfun.com as it reads. sorry all.

It would be nice though if they would get off there duff and start game give away.
Buried deep within the recesses of today’s software giveaway comments is – just like SingleRose says, A statement of GGAOTD’s resuming GGAOTD project scheduled for Sep 10. This may be exciting! Check in, Dorothy, Gitarzan, everybody – the ball may start rolling once more!
It’s signed by VICTOR and hovering over his name shows a link back to GGAOTD’s site. (Is Victor a GGAOTD team member?)
This just may be a sign! The anticipation runs high! Will we finally be reunited – or will all our hopes be dashed on the rocks of despair?

You know how, during the summer, TV shows air reruns? Well, it seems that this is the way GGAOTD is going to operate. Maybe they’ll have an ALL NEW fall season! What you think?
