  1. It’s amazing how many posters whimper about this-or-that. I doubt if they would complain if a restaurant offered a free lunch for one day only, but here….since the’s a convenient place to post…they complain about versions, reinstallations, install routines difficulties (which I have never had…but then, I actually read the text files…) ad nauseum.

I have an idea – keep the GOTD free but charge $10 registration for the forum. Then watch the complaints average….well, I’d guess .0000001%.

Go whine on a Microsoft, Symantec, Adobe, or other forum pertaining to PAID software.

  3. I have downloaded 2 free giveaways, Boxoft Photo framer, and Codedcolor Photstudio. I regestered them way whitin the time frame, but never recieved the code to get the full version, ending up with the trial version. Why, Why, Why? I’m about ready to report this site as a scam.

  5. Yes, now I recognize this software! At first, I didn’t know what it was exactly, until I read more information about what it does. Then, it hit me! I know this software! I used it once before. It’s OK, but it is also annoying! If I remember right, when you install it onto your computer, there is a little s, with a circle around it, that sits down in your taskbar, that is, that’s the way it was when I installed it several years ago! Anyway, is informs you, if one of your software is out-dated and tells you to update it! Like I said, it’s OK, but it was annoying to me at the time, because it was always telling me, that this software has an update, then this software has an update and so on! Very annoying to me! But, on the plus side, it always keeps your software up to date, whether you like it or not!

  6. Is there somewhere a list of previous GOTD selections? I downloaded a program last week but my laptop was stolen. I would be willing to pay for a version.
