Game giveaways going back to game.giveawayoftheday.com
Hello eveyrone,
Please note that our weekend game giveaways will go back to the game site starting this weekend. We tried to use our main site for both games and software giveaways and it just didn`t work well, so we decided to have 2 sites running again.

As for a few of the posters today with their DUH comments, I have to say this – While it’s obvious you can read and use a computer, so why don’t you be like Nike and just do it? The answers to your questions can be found under your hands, and in front of your face!

If you are giving games only at weekends, why not rename the game site as gamegiveawayoftheweek.com

ditto #17 and #19. I also agree that trading off between software and games through the week would be great. I really miss the games and the ones that have been offered the last two weekends weren’t my cup of tea, so I’m going thru withdrawals! Thanks for all you do…this is one of the first sites I check each day.

I love these sites:-) I have to admit, when you went to the weekend games, I missed the first couple because I didn’t have the link in the upper right corner of the GiveAway site and forgot to specifically look for the games on the weekends:-( My bad though. I LOVE the sites and even if I won’t personally use the program (ex:I have no use for Ipod stuff) I generally know someone to tell about it that day if I don’t need it. I also find it wonderful that I don’t have to go hunting all over the web for free softwware, you have it there, everyday, rain or shine!
And not in the least important, a HUGE Thank You to the folks you GET the software from! Without them, we wouldn’t’ have you all! I tell everyone I know about your site(s), sometimes more than 4-5 times.

I’ll certainly be checking every day. I’m one of those who like scrollers. We had a decent collection of games, all but one from here, but our hard drive failed. The repair guy said he couldn’t save what was on there. Now I’ll have fun replacing them. Thanks for everything you all do.
The website still says “Every day we offer licensed games you’d have to buy otherwise, for free!”
Change it to “every week”.
This “new” way sounds less confusing. Especially for us that need help tying our shoes. (Just buy Velcro) LOL

You folks do an awesome job & I appreciate all that you do in regard to the free software & games. I dont have any problems being a ‘beta’ tester perse, I choose the product I want to download & go from there. The best part is the product is free, if it dont work I just give a review to what happened or didnt happen & any problems I encountered & share it with the site & the world. Now what is so hard abouit that? But so many people want to come to this site & complain cuz they cant pick & choose the software they get, well thats just tough, this isnt that kind of site & they need to keep thier infantile selves at home. On a more positive note, keep up the great work!
re: #14: They are going to resume giveaways for games daily when they have more time. Why should they purchase a separate domain in the interim? It’s not just “renaming”, they’d have to register a new domain and pay for that.
I agree totally with #1 I am waiting patiently for you to bring back the games everyday. As I am not much of a guru for programs, I love games. Thanks for all your hard work for both sites, keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for your efforts here! I love Jane’s Hotel, and I was thrilled to see it as the giveaway today. I remembered to check my e-mail, and the info was there. I appreciate this site very much, regardless of whether we get a game every day, or once a week.
As for the comment about changing your name to gamegiveawayoftheweek.com, obviously that is not necessary, as your site is named GIVEAWAYOFTHEDAY.com, not GAMEGIVEAWAYOFTHEDAY. You do give away software every day, therefore your name is giveawayoftheday, which is a very correct and truthful name.
Please remember that for every complainer, there are several thankful people who probably don’t do enough to show it. This is the first comment I’ve published here, and I should have done so sooner. Thank you!!!!

Nice one. It just didn’t seem right having the games on the giveaway side. What surprised me was the complaints when you first started putting the games on the giveaway side. We live in a very strange and selfish world (well on the ‘Westernized’ side anyway
I for one am always delighted to see a new game whatever the genre. Thank you for running such a project. I hope it continues to be a success and I wish the owners of the project are successul in their endeavours. I’m sure it’s vey much appreciated by the vast majority of consumers here.

I have been coming to this site for well over a year. I read all the comments and then decide whether to download the game. I looked forward each day to see what new game was posted. People should be thankful that this is even here. I for one want to thank GAOTD.

Great finally back daily. I love PC games. I would like to know if there are other sites that offer Full version PC GAMES for Free. Most sites offers FULL version but you end up downloading an hour trial version, very frustrating. Please help me find more free games. Keep up the good work GGOTD.
What happened? I cannot get game.giveawayoftheday.com at all. I can only get this site. When will the game site come back? I thought it was in April?
I really miss the game a day. I find myself almost always disappointed with the regular program of the day. Game a day was great and if you had a stinker of a game you knew there would be another tomorrow. Now, you get two stinkers on the weekend and have to wait an entire week for more.

I would really like to see the Games run the whole of the week to download as so often I am away over the week end and when I return the game download has expired.
as a subscriber it is disappointing to miss out.
why cant you run the game download from weekend to weekend as you only offer two games a week it is easy to recommend the site when I have tried the game first please consider it I hate to miss out AGAIN
