You see besides teaming up with Informer Technologies and adding an optional Software Informer client installation we’ve updated GAOTD wrapper version a bit (particularly, added advanced error diagnostics capabilities). Cause of that innovation some of antivirus software gave you false positives.

We’ve removed that part from wrapper (yep, back to the drawing board…) and re-wrapped all the software right on Sunday.

Thanks for being with us all this time and for suggesting many useful things for our project. Right now we’re working on a new evaluation system that would be more sophisticated and effective for developers, our subscribers and those who come here to get some info about certain software products.

We would be very glad to hear your ideas on how we can make GOTD better, what new features you’d like to see on GAOTD site, what services you’d like to have here, how you’d like to evaluate software etc.

(Except for software suggestions – for that we still have another thread
that, yes, we check often and get much use of it)
