When we add our rating using the latest rating system the image for the new rating is not re-loaded, there is no visual feedback that the reating had been incorporated into the stats… We have to manually refresh the entire page to see the new star rating graphics.

I like the new reviewing system but would also like to keep the old overall thumbs up/down by percentage too. It makes a good at-a-glance reference.

In any event, I appreciate GAOTD and happily tell my friends about it.

I kinda like the idea. However, Ashraf may be the only one that can see if there are repeated users adding to the critique every day. I hazard a guess that the majority of users offering a responce are in general terms ‘frequent flyers’ as there is little time for the majority to be able to, or even want to, offer a full and meaningfull critique.

It would be nice if we could go back to the ratings and change or add new comments.
Because after using the program I find new good and bad things about it.
But It will not let me back in to edit something or add a view.

Great stuff GOTD – if people like your site or not, you guys have set the standard.

I’d like to see the Software Provider indicate what Operating System the software supports. It’s rather hit and miss for some packages where were left looking at other’s experiences

I'm not sure if anybody still checks back to the comments here, but I will leave my opinion anyway. After having used the new system for a while I came to the conclusion that I like the new system but there is one very important rating missing. As things are now we are rating many things except for the main one which is whether the software actually works well or not. I would suggest adding a rating for "DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE BOX".

The new rating is terrible. Time has now shown that most viewers don’t even rate the software via the new system. PLEASE go back to the Thumbs Up/Thumbs down system.

I really don’t care for the new rating system. The older one allowed you at a glance to see the cumulative results. The new one, in no way, is as efficient or definitive. Please go back to the “thumbs up/down” rating.
